VGA to DVI Converter/Scaler

DVIGear’s VGA to DVI Converter/Scalers is an ultra-compact, high performance scaler designed to meet the most demanding requirements for analog to digital signal conversion. This unit converts Analog VGA or Component Video to DVI-I.  A wide variety of PC and HDTV I/O resolutions are supported.

The input resolution is automatically detected and can be either RGBHV, YP_bP_r, YC_bC_r, signal formats.  For example, the DVI-3210a can accept a 480i YC_bC_r, signal from a DVD Player and convert it to a digital DVI signal at various PC and HDTV resolutions.

The input signal is on a D15 pin VGA connector.  Please use DVIGear’s VGA (HD-15) to Component Video SHR™ Cables if you need to support Component Video input signals.  The output signal is on a DVI-I connector, which provides both digital and analog signals.  Please use DVI-8415a if you need to breakout these signals separately.

The output resolution and refresh rate is selected via push buttons and an OSD menu.  An integrated microcontroller provides control over signal parameters, such as: Contrast, Brightness, Color Saturation, R-G-B Levels and H-V Positioning.  The unit is powered by 5VDC from an included AC Plug Power Adapter.  For optimum performance, be sure to use DVIGear’s Super High resolution™ cables with this product.
